For Charity

LGBT Advance is a fund raising project set up to help fund the work delivered by Hart Gables, supporting some of Teesside’s most disadvantaged LGBTQ+ people.

About Us

Established in July 2018 as a fund-raising project by Hart Gables, LGBT Advance Training and Consultancy is a recognised and trusted offer, empowering thousands of delegates across the UK with our interactive LGBTQ+ courses.

We’re not just a training provider; we’re champions of proactive change.

Our dedicated team works closely with some of the North East’s most marginalised communities, making a substantial impact where it’s needed most. Every pound raised through LGBT Advance goes directly back into the service, providing essential support to individuals living with poor mental health, those who are seeking asylum, and those who are living with physical and hidden disabilities. Many of our service users face the harsh realities of recurring hate crimes, discrimination, poverty, and social isolation.

On behalf of the team and the people who access Hart Gables, we extend our heartfelt thanks for choosing LGBT Advance as your trusted LGBTQ+ training provider, contributing to a more inclusive, diverse and fairer future for all.

Our most popular courses

A journey through transition – Exploring gender identity

This course explores the difference between gender identity and sexual orientation, up-to-date trans+ and non-binary terminology, focusing on how your organisation can become more inclusive and accessible to trans and non-binary communities.

LGBT Awareness – Inclusion in the workplace

This course explores terminology used within LGBTQ+ culture and focuses on contemporary issues those communities are currently facing. The training goes on to examine how mainstream services can better equip themselves to help break down those barriers and foster a more inclusive working environment.
